Björk - fossora

Try as I might I cannot listen to a recent(ish) Björk album all the way through. I see the reviews giving thumbs up, and it makes me double check my own assumptions.

fossora (note the lowercase ‘f’!) has not changed this opinion.

Looking at the albums I have (not all of them) I enjoyed until Vespertine, in 2001. And then something changed. Volta, Vulnicura and fossora all come from the same place.

I’ll grant that I need to change, grow, expand my horizons, yada yada. I’ll keep trying occasionally, like I do with opera. But often, I will then conceed that it defeats me.
